Now Hiring: Site Supervisor

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee daily transportation operations, driver management, and compliance at one of our key locations. Position Summary

The Site Supervisor will be responsible for leading and coordinating transportation operations while ensuring full compliance with client safety protocols, site-specific regulations, and industry standards. This individual will serve as the primary on-site contact, managing drivers and processes to ensure safety, efficiency, and excellent service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

    • Maintain clear and timely communication between drivers, management, and clients to ensure smooth workflows and exceptional service.
    • Oversee daily transportation operations, including scheduling and dispatching drivers to meet client needs.

Driver Supervision

    • Recruit, train, and supervise drivers, fostering a team environment focused on safety and reliability.
    • Conduct routine performance evaluations and provide on-the-spot coaching as needed.

Compliance Oversight

    • Enforce and uphold all client-specific safety protocols, site-specific regulations, and DOT compliance standards.
    • Conduct site inspections and safety audits to ensure adherence to both governmental and client requirements.
    • Monitor incidents, implement corrective actions, and maintain necessary documentation.

Technology & Tools

    • Actively use Samsara and AVL solutions for fleet tracking, driver performance monitoring, and scheduling optimization.
    • Leverage Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) for producing reports, maintaining schedules, and analyzing operational data.

Administrative Duties

    • Document all operational processes, incidents, and compliance checks accurately.
    • Prepare site-specific operational and safety reports, and communicate updates to management and clients.

Qualifications

Licensing Requirements

    • Valid CDL A, B, or C, license with a passenger endorsement (required).

Experience

    • Proven management experience in transportation, logistics, or a related field.
    • Familiarity with transportation technology, including Samsara or similar fleet management systems, AVL solutions, and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Experience working within client safety standards and site-specific operational protocols.

Skills

    • Strong knowledge of compliance, including site-level and client-specific safety requirements.
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with drivers, clients, and upper management.
    • Problem-solving mindset for quick decision-making under pressure.
