Shuttle between Purdue University and Indianapolis Airport (IND)
Service Announcement: April 11, 2025
Starting this spring, GO Express Travel will no longer operate regular Lafayette Express shuttle service. While this marks the end of our daily route, we’re still here for you during key travel times throughout the year.
Shuttle service will continue to be available during major Purdue University travel holidays, including:
- Spring Break
- Fall Break
- Thanksgiving Break
- Winter Recess
- Spring Commencement
- Beginning and End of Fall and Winter Terms
Whether you’re heading home for the holidays or starting a new chapter, we’re proud to continue supporting the Purdue community during these important times.
And don’t forget—our year-round black car service remains available to offer you reliable, door-to-door transportation whenever you need it, with the comfort and flexibility you expect.

Is the Lafayette Express still running?
Regular daily Lafayette Express service has been discontinued. However, GO Express Travel continues to offer shuttle service during major Purdue University travel periods (Spring Break, Commencement, etc.) when demand is highest.
What if I need transportation outside of those times?
Our black car service is available year-round and provides private, door-to-door transportation. It’s a great option for flexible travel needs.
How much does the black car service cost?
Black car service typically costs around $175, SUV service is $200 and 14 passenger black van service is $250 for a one-way trip between Lafayette and Indianapolis, depending on your pickup and drop-off locations.
Why was the regular Lafayette Express service discontinued?
Over time, we’ve seen that demand for the Lafayette Express is concentrated around Purdue’s major travel periods. To better serve our passengers and operate efficiently, we’ve focused our shuttle service on those peak times.

Lafayette Express Holiday Shuttle
$25.00 each way
Whether your traveling from West Lafayette to IND Airport or Indianapolis to Purdue, our shuttle service is the most cost-effective way to get there. Lafayette Express is available at just $25.00 each way! Passengers can choose from multiple pick-up points and times. Due to the low cost and high demand of this service, we recommend booking online in advance to guarantee your seat. If traveling to IND, please plan accordingly and allow yourself enough time to get to the airport.
Please note, the shuttle service costs an additional $3.00 each way on these holidays: New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
