After many years of providing regular daily shuttle service between Lafayette and Indianapolis, GO Express Travel has made the decision to discontinue our Lafayette Express route.
We understand this may be an inconvenience, and we want to share a little more about why this change is happening—and how we’re still here when you need us.
Why the Change?
Over time, we’ve seen a clear pattern: demand for our Lafayette Express service is strongest during major Purdue University travel periods—like breaks, the start and end of terms, and Commencement. Outside of those peak times, ridership has been much lower.
To better meet our passengers’ needs and focus on when you need us most, we’re now offering shuttle service only during major Purdue travel windows.
So, What Are My Travel Options?
If you’re traveling during Purdue’s busiest times, you’ll still be able to rely on our shuttle service as usual.
For everything else, we’ve got you covered with our year-round black car service. It’s private, flexible, and offers convenient, door-to-door transportation any day of the year. The estimated cost is around $200 one way between Lafayette and Indianapolis, depending on your pickup and drop-off points and selected vehicle. We have sedans, SUVs, and 14 passenger vans ready to meet your needs!
