Go Express Travel is seeking a meticulous and hardworking Auto/Bus Detailer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring our fleet of buses and vehicles is clean, sanitized, and maintained to the highest standards. This role is crucial in providing our customers with a comfortable and pleasant travel experience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough cleaning of buses and vehicles, both interior and exterior.
• Wash, wax, and buff vehicle surfaces to restore shine and protect paintwork.
• Vacuum and shampoo seats, carpets, and upholstery.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and all interior surfaces.
• Disinfect high-touch areas to ensure passenger safety and comfort.
• Inspect vehicles for damage, report any issues to the maintenance team, and document cleaning activities.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, towels, and sanitizers.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure its proper functioning.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines when using cleaning products and tools.
• Assist in other vehicle maintenance tasks as needed.

Experience:

• Previous experience in auto detailing or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with cleaning products and tools.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.

Physical Demands:

• Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and walking.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals and outdoor weather conditions.

Required Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or any combination of education and experience
• Valid driver’s license.

Other Qualifications:

• Employment at Go Express Travel is contingent upon the results of a background check.

• Automotive repair experience is required.
• Diesel engine repair experience is required.
• Body work repair experience is required.
• Fleet maintenance experience is preferred.
