We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical background and experience working with heavy equipment. This role involves diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, ensuring that all vehicles operate efficiently and safely. The Diesel Mechanic will also provide exceptional customer service and support to staff, addressing their needs and concerns regarding their equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems in heavy equipment.
• Assist with preventative maintenance (PMs), safety, and annual maintenance inspections. Have general knowledge of DOT requirements.
• Assemble and disassemble components as needed for repairs or upgrades.
• Utilize welding and fabrication skills to repair or modify equipment parts.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with other service technicians to ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Move vehicles safely between the job and work area.
• Assist with road calls and emergency services as necessary.
• Perform other responsibilities as requested or required.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines and heavy equipment operation.
• Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

Auto and Diesel Fleet Mechanic Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license required.
• 1-2 years of diesel repair employment experience or a combination of education & experience.
• Must have an appropriate mechanic’s toolset.
• Good computer skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Be subject to a drug test.

Go Express Travel is seeking a meticulous and hardworking Auto/Bus Detailer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring our fleet of buses and vehicles is clean, sanitized, and maintained to the highest standards. This role is crucial in providing our customers with a comfortable and pleasant travel experience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough cleaning of buses and vehicles, both interior and exterior.
• Wash, wax, and buff vehicle surfaces to restore shine and protect paintwork.
• Vacuum and shampoo seats, carpets, and upholstery.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and all interior surfaces.
• Disinfect high-touch areas to ensure passenger safety and comfort.
• Inspect vehicles for damage, report any issues to the maintenance team, and document cleaning activities.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, towels, and sanitizers.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure its proper functioning.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines when using cleaning products and tools.
• Assist in other vehicle maintenance tasks as needed.

Experience:

• Previous experience in auto detailing or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with cleaning products and tools.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.

Physical Demands:

• Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and walking.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals and outdoor weather conditions.

Required Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or any combination of education and experience
• Valid driver’s license.
